With decks on 3 sides, a large front patio with umbrellas, seating areas, a fire pit, and a high-end 6-person Sundance spa, more seating areas on the side and in the back by the cottage and recreation barn (with pool and ping-pong tables), a large front lawn and abundant mature trees; this very special property lends itself to outdoor entertainment and ‘celebrating’ with Mother Nature. Enter the main house from either of the 2 front French doors and you are ‘welcomed’ by the lovely Great Room with cathedral ceilings, bamboo flooring, custom wooden shutterblinds, beautiful eclectic décor, ceiling fans, and peaceful relaxing hues.
The Great Room’s living space has 2 comfortable seating areas, a small work desk, and an entertainment center which includes a 42” Samsung Plasma TV, DirecTV, DVD player, a sound system with outside speakers on the front porch, Ipod dock, and Xbox with games. Sharing a wood burning stove, the dining and kitchen areas are open to the living room and create a flowing space for entertaining; allowing guests to interact, whether in the kitchen at the new stainless steel professional 5-burner gas range making culinary magic, sipping and supping at the 8-person dining table, or relaxing by the TV. The well equipped gourmet kitchen is sure to please the ‘chef’ and is also furnished with a built-in Subzero refrigerator/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee press, coffee grinder, Cuisinart, dishes, flatware, glassware, and all the necessary essentials. Of course, a propane BBQ is also provided, just outside the kitchen on the side deck, for your grilling pleasure.
A hallway off the Great Room leads to the master suite with a king Sleep Number bed, luscious bedding and linens, a small TV, ceiling fan/light combo, and French doors opening to the back porch. Spa inspired, the master’s ensuite bath is stone tiled with a dual sinked vanity, freestanding shower, and large sumptuous soaking tub. The hallway also provides access for two more bedrooms; one with a king Duxiana bed, ceiling fan/light combo, and small TV, and the other with a high-end queen bed, vaulted ceilings, and large windows with custom shutterblinds. A beautiful shared bath with stone tile and a large freestanding shower completes this side of the home. Also essential and convenient, the indoor laundry room has a high efficiency front loading washer/dryer set with built-in cabinets, counter space for sorting and folding, and is right next to the kitchen.
Blue Moon Hollow is very well located for enjoying the many renowned Dry Creek Valley wineries, and is a great ‘home base’ for exploring the diversity of Sonoma County’s many adventures with beautiful Lake Sonoma Recreation area and Marina just minutes away. With 2 more wine growing regions nearby, there are many more wineries to enjoy and charming historic Healdsburg has dozens of tasting rooms and many fine restaurants, art galleries, and specialty shops of all kinds. We recommend as long a stay as possible to allow enjoyment time to sample as much of Wine Country as you may want to.
Additionally, excellent property management and ‘concierge’ services are provided for ensuring the best possible Vacation experience and by prearrangement with additional fees, catering, a personal chef, housekeeping, wine tours, onsite massage, and just about anything else you might need or want. Day passes to Healdsburg’s Parkpoint Health and Swim Club are also available for $15/day for adults, $10/day for children 10-16, and $6/day for children 9 and under.
