Now let’s move on to this vintage home’s living areas. To the left of the entry foyer is the open beamed, cathedral ceilinged living room with a beautiful stone-mantled, decorative fireplace (please no fires due to smoke and fire hazard). The living room features a beautiful media center including a 55” Samsung LCD HD TV with DirecTV, with an Xbox 360 with DVD player, and sound provided by a Yamaha sound bar. The living room is dressed with a lovely sisal and linen area rug, full sized sofa, coffee table, end tables, and beautiful lamps, with two new upholstered chairs with ottomans.

This space is made more bright and open with a set of double full glass French doors with decorative full glass panels on each side, leading to the back porch for entertainment and your grilling pleasure. The island is also home to two dishwashers, a stainless steel Miele, and a one drawer Fisher Paykel, for your cleaning needs.

A trough bar sinked, 4-stooled second island serves as a breakfront between the kitchen and formal dining area; this island also includes a wine fridge. A convenient built-in, zinc topped side serving cabinet with glass faced doors provides more countertop space and a staging area for meal service. The ‘heart’ of the kitchen is a professional stainless steel Viking 6-burner range with grill and double ovens, and a high wall mounted faucet for filling your pasta pots. The venting hood above also has lighting and heat lamps, as well.

In this area of the kitchen, there is also a wall mounted 31” Sharp Aquos HD TV for a little help from the Cooking Channel, while you prepare your feast! A sound system with flush mounted ceiling speakers provides music and entertainment for the kitchen and dining areas. This special part of the home is a wall of windows on one side, looking out on the back deck, and at the end of the dining room is a set of full glass French doors with glass panels on each side, creating a whole wall of windows to bring the beauty of the outside indoors.

The kitchen appliances are wonderfully completed by a 48” wide stainless steel side by side Subzero fridge/freezer combo, a KitchenAid toaster, and a Cuisinart automatic coffeemaker, A Calphalon set of cookware is provided including a very nice set of knives for your prepping needs.

For your dining pleasure, a beautiful dark oak dining table for 10+ is centered in the dining room. At the end of the dining room is a convenient full bath with a large freestanding glass doored shower with a modern porcelain sink, commode, and roman pleated, shaded covered window. This bathroom is also convenient for guests using the pool and backyard entertainment areas.

Now, let’s take a look at the lovely Royal Pool House Suite. Enter the pool house under the wisteria covered arbor, to the ceramic slate-tiled floor. To the right is a large sleeping area with open beamed, soaring cathedral ceilings and ceiling fan. A beautiful upholstered framed king bed graces this lovely private space with a seating area and antique entertainment center with a 36” JVC LC HD TV with DirecTV. A double full glass sliding door with additional decorative window panels on each side, provides access to the covered side porch, with rocking chairs and a side table for morning tea or sipping some wine while taking in the incredible vineyard views beyond.

The pool suite’s bathroom has a neo-angle, walk-in, glass doored shower, a single sinked, laminate topped vanity, and a private water closet. This lovely suite also has a kitchenette including a convenient stackable washer and dryer, plenty of counter space, a double stainless steel sink, coffee pot, and microwave. There is also an outdoor shower to the left side of the pool house for rinsing before and after using the pool.

Lastly, let me wax poetic about the outdoor amenities. The large ipe wood deck off of the kitchen/dining area is furnished with a large seating area, including a loveseat and several armed as well as armless chairs. A Vermont Castings grill is provided for your grilling pleasure and preparing your ‘roast beast’.

Also provided is an outdoor teak dining table for 8. The central feature of the backyard, of course, is the 20’x40’ inground pool with electric motored cover, and an inground 7’ circular spa. There are three beautiful paper bark willow trees at the north end of the pool. Beside the pool is a large flagstone perimeter with 8 wood, cushioned lounge chairs, 4 side tables, and an umbrella or two for some shade when needed.

Additionally, the large yard has decomposed granite pathways, white picket fencing, and a large lawn area ideal for lawn bocce ball or croquet, and a horseshoe pit is also provided and additionally a firepit with 6 Adirondack chairs. The backyard area is also home to a beautiful, mature, curly willow, lots of mature plantings and flowering shrubs, a hundred year old ginkgo biloba and mature liquid amber trees with a couple camellias and 14 olive trees, as well.

This Wine Country ‘paradise’ is also surrounded by working vineyards for an authentic grape experience. Ideally located for enjoying Healdsburg, the Magnolia & Vine Estate is a perfect ‘home base’, whether you just relax and soak in all of the beauty and amenities provided, or venture out in almost any direction for enjoying the many adventures nearby. There is an abundance of more than 100 award winning wineries within a short drive, including the Alexander, Dry Creek, and Russian River Valleys.

You can also follow the Russian River, along River Road, through the redwoods, to the rugged Sonoma County Coast, and a few miles north is the newly renovated and restored historic Fort Ross, which was a Russian sea otter fir trading post until 1812, and makes for a wonderful and interesting daytrip. You will likely need many days to explore, experience, and enjoy it all, and then return again and again for more relaxation, rejuvenation, and adventures.

Our guests are also welcomed at Healdsburg’s premier Parkpoint Swim & Health Club with a heated lap pool, aqua aerobics pool, children’s pool, as well as all the workout equipment and exercise classes you can enjoy, and day passes are available for purchase.
